A-Z Challenge: The letter P

Party in the flower bed.
  Brash orange poppies chat up
    Perky pink snapdragons.
  Regal lavender iris stands tall
    Supervising sweet alyssum.
  Shy lambs ears sit protected
     In rose bush shade.

A-Z Challenge: The letter I

The fragrance of alyssum spicy and clean
Drifts across the orchard.
Green grass stains cling to my jeans
From where I knelt on the ground
Intoxicated by spring.
